Specialized CLEAN™ is a high-performance detergent formulated to support Specialized Cleaning as defined in NFPA 1851 (2020) and NFPA 1850 (2025). When paired with the GENIUS PRO™ Extractor’s factory-programmed Specialized Cleaning cycle, it goes beyond basic requirements, delivering deeper, more thorough cleaning of firefighter PPE.

Use in accordance with the NFPA 1850 event contamination flow chart for proper application of the Specialized Cleaning cycle.

The GENIUS PRO™ system includes a verified Specialized Cleaning cycle calibrated for use with Specialized CLEAN™. DO NOT pour Specialized CLEAN™ directly into extractor. While adjusting programming or using alternative detergents does not inherently affect NFPA compliance, it may reduce cleaning performance compared to the verified factory settings. Consult Circul-Air before making detergent or program changes to maintain optimal cleaning outcomes.
