About Ontario PPE
Ontario PPE, Inc. was established in 2024 in Orono, Ontario by firefighter Ash Walker. As a firefighter himself, Ash knows the importance of clean and inspected PPE to keep firefighters safe from toxins and carcinogens. Ontario PPE was instituted to help Canadian stations have a one-stop shop to implement a comprehensive cancer mitigation system as per the latest edition of NFPA 1851.

Why Ontario PPE
The danger isn’t over just because the fire is out! Firefighting gear and PPE traps toxic and carcinogenic hydrocarbons, grease, soot, and contaminants, which is harmful for firefighters long after they have left the scene. Ontario PPE helps keep firefighters safe through our cleaning, inspection, and repair services and our chemical and appliance product offerings.
Ontario PPE also offers educational and training classes to fire personnel to help them implement and adhere to NFPA 1851 guidelines. This encourages everyone to be part of the ongoing health and safety of our firefighting heroes for years to come.
